Introduction
The Tourism and Hospitality industry manpower needs are increasing at a dramatic rate as the industry in Singapore and emerging new economies see rapid growth.
In Singapore, the F&B business is thriving with the blooming of the tourism and hospitality industry, as well as the import of foreign talents, and the upcoming Integrated Resorts. Skilled and specialised F&B individuals are in great demand.
Learning Outcome
Students will learn ways to understand the food and beverage language, serving, food handling and menu planning. They will be able to communicate with the customers by understanding how to meet the customers' expectation and satisfaction.

Full Time / Part Time Classes - 3 months theory
Entry Requirements
• 15 years of age
• Partial GCE 'N' or 'O' levels OR 10 years of basic education
English Language Requirements
When prior education is not in the English Language medium of instruction any one of the following is required:
• Intermediate Level 2 of Professional Certificate of English awarded by FTMSGlobal Academy or
• equivalent OR IELTS 5. 0/ TOEFL (paper-based) > 500 or TOEFL (computer-based) > 173
• Any other equivalent English qualifications

Graduation and Progression
Upon successful completion the students can progress to Diploma in Hotel Management or Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Upon successful completion of the , students are expected to continue study and enroll into Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management or Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management, However, students who do not want to enroll into the Diploma programmes can exit the studies and apply for Internship to get practical experience.
Internship (3-6 months)*
Students have to demonstrate their 21st century skills and attributes, and are fully responsible for the successful completion of the course, for their success at the interview session and securing the internship. Students can secure internship in or outside Singapore. They should work 3-6 months at established hotels/ restaurants to gain valuable real-world experience that wil be paramount to them becoming the next-generation of the food and beverage industries service elite.
The student is responsible for the application for internship. FTMS will assist the student in the internship through mock interviews and arrange grooming and interview sessions for the individuals.
